RaiseMe Transfer is a financial award for students transferring from a 2-year community college in Pennsylvania with an associate’s degree to a Penn State Commonwealth Campus to earn their bachelor’s degree.
The Aegean Sea served as both a classroom and biology lab for a group of 20 students from all over the U.S. studying the environmental impact of microplastics this past summer. The students, including five from Penn State, traveled to Greece as part of the Connecting Humans and Nature through Conservation Experiences (CHANCE) program.

Part of the 2+2 program, he moved to University Park in the fall. His experience and interest in the field led to securing a co-op position with Johnson & Johnson this semester.
